Peter had a rural background growing up in Inverell, calling horse races in the far north of NSW and southern Qld from the young age of 15 and was the youngest auctioneer known to sell fat cattle, sheep and lambs in the tough world of Inverell Saleyards for his family's Stock and Station Agency. His father Brian Baldwin is an industry stalwart and is revered by many rural indentities as one of the best ever in the field of auctioneering.
Over the past 22 years, Peter has auctioned over 27,000 properties with a vlaue in excess of $11 billion. Within this period he is the most prolific and successful Auctioneer in Australia for acheiving residential property sales under the hammer between $6 million and $9 million. He holds highest sale price records in over 30 Sydney Suburbs, including and Australasian Apartment sale record of $10.35 million in Darling Point which equated to $50,000psm.
